Products Description

Fire sprinkler heads are automatic fire suppression devices designed to detect heat and discharge water directly onto a fire. They are a critical component of fire sprinkler systems installed in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. Contrary to a common misconception, individual sprinkler heads activate independently based on the temperature at their location-only the sprinkler closest to the fire typically operates.

A fire sprinkler system consists of a network of pipes connected to a reliable water supply. Each sprinkler head remains sealed until the surrounding temperature reaches its activation point, at which time water is released to control or extinguish the fire.

FAQ

Q: What main types of sprinkler heads do you supply?
Standard Response Sprinkler
Quick Response Sprinkler
ESFR Sprinkler (Early Suppression Fast Response, warehouse high rack storage)
Extended Coverage Sprinkler (EC, large space coverage)
Upright Sprinkler, Pendent Sprinkler, Sidewall Sprinkler
Concealed Sprinkler, Recessed Sprinkler

Q: What are common activation temperatures?
57℃ (orange), 68℃ (red), 79℃ (yellow), 93℃ (green), 141℃ (blue).
68℃ red bulb is the most universal model for general buildings.

Q: What does K-factor mean?
K-factor represents the water discharge coefficient.
Common models: K5.6, K8.0, K11.2, K16.8, K22.4. Higher K-factor means larger water flow under same working pressure, mostly adopted in warehouse storage systems.

Q: What is the difference between Quick Response and Standard Response?
Quick response sprinkler has smaller glass bulb, shorter response time, detects fire faster, ideal for offices, hotels, residential buildings.
Standard response is widely used in factory workshops.

Q: What is ESFR sprinkler?
A: ESFR = Early Suppression Fast Response. Specially designed for high rack storage warehouses. It can suppress fire at early stage without in-rack sprinklers, comply with NFPA 13. Normally high K-factor, high water output.
