Production introduction

Foam Bladder Tank Horizontal
This tank is constructed with a robust outer shell, typically made of high - quality carbon steel or stainless steel, which provides excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Inside the tank, there is a flexible bladder, usually made of a durable, chemical - resistant material such as nitrile rubber . The bladder separates the foam concentrate from the water in the tank. When water enters the tank under pressure, it compresses the bladder, forcing the foam concentrate out through the outlet.
The horizontal foam bladder tank operates on the principle of pressure differential. When a fire is detected, the fire - fighting pump starts and supplies water to the tank. As the water pressure increases, it squeezes the bladder, pushing the foam concentrate into the proportioning device. The proportioning device then mixes the foam concentrate with water in the correct ratio to form a foam solution. This foam solution is then delivered to the fire - fighting nozzles for fire suppression.

FAQ
Q: What is a Horizontal Foam Bladder Tank?
A: It's a fire - protection equipment that stores foam concentrate in a flexible bladder within a horizontal tank, used to generate foam for extinguishing fires involving flammable liquids.
Q: What are the main components of a Horizontal Foam Bladder Tank?
A: It consists of a pressure tank, bladder, proportioner, control valves, pressure gauge, and pipelines.
Q: What is the function of the bladder in a Horizontal Foam Bladder Tank?
A: The bladder permits water pressure to be transferred to the foam concentrate without the two fluids mixing together.
Q: What is the typical capacity range of a Horizontal Foam Bladder Tank?
A: The capacity typically ranges from 1000L to 10,000L.
Q: How does a Horizontal Foam Bladder Tank work?
A: High-pressure water is applied to the outside of the bladder, displacing the foam concentrate inside, which is then injected into the water stream.
