‌ Use steps of fire monitors‌:

‌ Check equipment‌: Before using the fire monitor, first conduct a comprehensive inspection, including whether the monitor body is damaged, whether the connectors are firm, and whether the operating parts are flexible.
‌ Adjust angle‌: According to the location of the fire source and the size of the fire, reasonably adjust the spray angle and range of the fire monitor. When operating manually, turn the monitor body and adjust the spray angle to ensure that the fire source can be accurately aimed.
‌ Operation steps‌:
Open the pump group and inlet valve of the monitor.
Loosen the positioning locking handle and use the operating handle to adjust the horizontal and elevation angles of the monitor.
When spraying, spray in the direction of the wind so that the water fully covers the burning object.
After the operation is completed, first close the pump group and the inlet valve, then use the operating handle to adjust the muzzle downward to discharge the remaining liquid, and finally close the inlet valve.
‌Maintenance points of fire monitors‌:

‌Check integrity and operational flexibility‌: Check the integrity and operational flexibility of the monitor frequently. If the fasteners are loose, they should be repaired in time to ensure that the monitor is in good use condition‌.
‌Lubricate the rotating parts‌: Lubricants should be added to the rotating parts of the monitor frequently to ensure flexible rotation‌.
‌Cleaning and drainage‌: After each use, clean water should be sprayed for a period of time, and then the water in the monitor should be drained and the remaining water in the turret water pipe should be drained‌.
‌Safe operation‌: No one can stand in front of the muzzle during spraying, and the monitor cannot be used to extinguish live equipment to avoid electric shock‌.
‌Storage status‌: When not in operation, the monitor should be placed in a horizontal state and covered with a rainproof cloth‌.
